It's very clear that latency in voice-to-answer type interfaces is a worthwhile problem to solve. How fortunate to so clearly see the frustration with new AI hardware.
@dbarawn@QuantumJos@ralfrpatterson@CosmoWenman@andrewmccalip In other words you can’t “isolate” the non-superconducting regions that you say exist in an elemental type II superconductor. Meaning, there aren’t any non-superconducting regions, just a an imperfect meissner effect in a true superconductor
@dbarawn@QuantumJos@ralfrpatterson@CosmoWenman@andrewmccalip My point is just that an incomplete meissner effect doesn’t mean it’s an imperfect superconductor. All superconductors have their limitations and non-superconducting regions is not the theoretically correct way to think about it. Especially in the context of elemental type ii
@alexkaplan0 Diamagnetism is not the same as meissner effect though. Wouldn’t flux pinning by floating it underneath the magnet be a more definitive way to test? Maybe it could be ground into a powder and some pieces would flux lock under a magnet. What am I missing?
@zebulgar Wouldn't it make a lot more sense to flux pin the rocks under a magnet rather than float the rocks on top? If it's really a type-ii semiconductor flux pinning seems like the definitive test, whereas floating on top could just be diamagnetism. What am I missing here?
It’s hard to say goodbye, @kevinmitnick. I can’t believe you called just a few weeks ago. I’ll never forget our adventures, 2am meals, and that time you convinced me to go dumpster diving with you.
The world is less bright without you my friend. Farewell, until we meet again.
@JasonBaumann9@SteveJMcInally @_figensezgin In most situations, a pilot will consider the de-crab or sideslip. Boeing doesn't recommend a crab only touchdown on a dry runway, BUT this is a wet runway.
Are you type rated in this plane? You’re not the only pilot on Twitter and being a pilot doesn’t mean you’re right
It’s a funny thing how exciting it can be to… stay the same.
Today we’re announcing our next fund, our fourth (!) since we started Bloomberg Beta almost a decade ago (!?).
We’re grateful to all the founders who invited us to back them all this way.
And wait there’s more ⤵️
@jspujji I think you make some good points but why do you think this is universal? Everyone doesn’t have this problem. Imposter syndrome and upper limit problems are experienced by many but certainly not all
