I am proud to announce godot-playfab 1.0!
godot-playfab is an addon for the #GodotEngine, bringing #Azure#PlayFab, a backend-as-a-service platform - to game developers using Godot's own scripting language, #GDScript.
Now ready for production!

We have work to do as we move to a more open developer ecosystem. Today we shipped an XBOX Godot sample to GitHub, giving developers a simple starting point for building games with the GDK and other title services.

🌟 XBOX Godot Sample - now available as a public, source-only reference on @github
We’re making it easier to build for XBOX on PC with @godotengine. Check out our new sample that helps you integrate Microsoft GDK, XBOX Services, and PlayFab directly into Godot, with reusable code and modular samples that help make your development path shorter, smoother, and more open.

@JezCorden I am definitely an Ally first gamer. I also play more since I got it. And I travel quite a bit and it's so handy to book it up to a hotel TV or do gamedev stuff on it! I always have a foldable BT keyboard in the bag as well!
The MOLDRISE demo is out now on Steam!
Super excited to work alongside @MV_Raffa in creating the soundtrack for this game. Can't wait to share the rest on the full release.
Get to the roof!
I GOT THE DOMAIN! I FINALLY GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!1 🥳🎉
Paint.NET is now at https://t.co/ZJTUII4bVG!
Well, it will be just as soon as I push all the buttons to migrate content and set up redirects from getpaint.net etc. For now it's just a "hey go here" redirect page.
@rickbrewPDN Oh my, I am so happy for you! Finally! And while I am here: thanks for all your hard work on https://t.co/GKsDFgdt1l!
(Good excuse to use the domain right away☺️)
@SushiiVrt@Wario64 I am using it with a big screen all the time while travelling. Also have a foldable Bluetooth keyboard and a mouse with me for all my desktop needs. Absolutely fabulous!
@Sadface_RL I always loved your stuff! I don't have the time anymore to practice, as it was a hobby and I have too many hobbies, but you made such great content and I would love to see more and I believe there's an audience!
To improve accessibility options, we've updated the XBOX Adaptive Thumbstick Toppers:

My reply to someone considering starting a video game company:
The distribution of possible rewards for starting a video game company are generally not very good today. The market is well served, and gaining a foothold requires strong execution on both business and product issues, along with a substantial amount of luck. Plan to burn through seven figures with a not-great chance of making it back.
If you do go for it, some bits of advice:
Identify your customers clearly before you start. Not just a broad community, but specific people, and imagine them as you make decisions.
Initially, build the smallest, most concise game you can imagine anyone paying for. It will still take much longer than you expect.
Once something exists, hill-climb the value. Hopefully you will have some elements that clearly bring joy to people, which you can magnify. There will inevitably be tons of things that people find confusing, frustrating, or just boring that you will need to fix.
@IndieGameJoe@ID_AA_Carmack This is a great comment on excellent advice. I see too many folks working on their game in the dark when they have got some funding. Don't waste the money and time on making something that you have not validated with customers.
#NETworkManager continues to get better. The latest pre-release adds a powerful new Firewall module to your networking toolkit. 🛠️🌐

@HaktanSuren@kskrygan I care about being able to use it offline, as I travel a lot and network is not always fantastic. So hell yeah, I'd love that!
I am just curious how you get the perf and cost right. But I am looking forward to being impressed!
Game Pass Ultimate has become too expensive for too many players. Starting today, we’re dropping the price from $29.99 to $22.99/month.
Future Call of Duty titles will no longer join Game Pass Ultimate on day one. They will join this tier the following holiday after launch (about a year later). Current Call of Duty titles will remain available to Ultimate subscribers.
We’ll keep learning and evolving Game Pass to better match what matters to players.

Achievements are beloved by players on Xbox and we know you have long asked for improvements. So we have a few updates on the way, starting with Insiders today.
We are continuing to listen closely as these roll out to everyone and we have more coming later this year.
@oldyzach Indeed! And making an official XCOM is my absolute gamedev dream.
I would love to capture the atmosphere of the originals. While it had a comic-style intro, I think it wanted to be super realistic. And it was, at that time.
I think it also helped that UFOs were the hot thing!
