On today's 7⅔-mile run, I broke pace for another location from cinema history. By the deodar cedars of #WhiteOakAvenue in #GranadaHills #LA, was where the #ETTheExtraTerrestrial bike lift-off scene was filmed. There's even a #mural honoring it. #locationscout #locationscouting

Last Sunday, the #twins traveled internationally for the first time! Though I'm not a fan of keeping the #Tijuana #zonkey tradition, we took a photo... just like the kids' grandfather and great-grandfather back in 1958. Four generations of Trimbles in #Mexico! 🇲🇽🦓

On Sunday, I ran the @LAMarathon in 4 hours, 13 minutes. This was my 3rd #marathon overall and my 2nd in two weeks! It's time now to rest for a while. #LAMarathon #LosAngeles #LosAngelesMarathon #WeRunLA

In 2012, I ran the #SanDiegoMarathon and vowed I'd NEVER attempt that again. Now, 11 years older, I just ran the #SocalRiverMarathon (26.2 miles on the #SantaAnaRiver) and beat my previous time by 25 minutes! @mtrimblesoprano ran the 5K while pushing 110 lbs of twins & stroller!

Today, I ran the Seaside Half Marathon in Ventura, CA. Despite being many years older than the last times I did such races, I beat my 2017 times by almost 6 minutes, and my 2011 times by 18 minutes! I placed THIRD among 40-something men, and 13TH out of 132 runners). 😎🎉

At the #StarTrekPicard season 3 premiere, I finally met #JohnTrimble and #BjoTrimble! They are #StarTrek legends who saved the TV show in the 1960s... and very, very distant cousins. 😂 We've tried to connect for over a decade!

16 months ago, I reserved the @Ford #F150Lightning. Today, I could finally place the order! I love my @Tesla #Model3, but I literally CAN'T WAIT to trade it in for a truck again. And not any old truck, but an #ELECTRIC that will be a #gamechanger. Coming 2023. Woo hoo!
