@OctopusEnergy The point is the EV Saver was advertised at the cheapest - but people who fixed on IOG (which isn’t an option for EV saver) have an overnight rate of almost half my new rate.
You’re using EV saver to subsidise others - can’t wait for Tesla to launch their electric network
Absolutely shocking behaviour from @OctopusEnergy - the government announce bills going down on avg by £150 a year - mine (IOG EV saver) goes down £120 - today I get a letter saying it’s going back up £119.
This should be illegal!
@OctopusEnergy I don’t really care about another video from the CEO - he’s previously said that Scotland should have the lowest pricing in the U.K. yet he charges Scotland more - he’s all talk and no action,
@MartinSLewis
Hi, thought this may be of interest to you - 1st April due to govt changes @OctopusEnergy bill down £125 - 1st May bill going up £119 wiping out govt saving already.
IOG EV Saver
@OctopusEnergy I got an email saying that my EV Saver rates would be going form 6p kWh off peak at 29p kWh peak to 8p off peak and 37p peak, this can’t possibly be correct if prices are going down…. Can it?
@pagerdude@EZebroni It’s the same as parking at a pump and then spending 20/30 minutes in the store when someone else is waiting.
Unless places do things like this fully charged cars would end up plugged into points that
1 - other people were needing to use
2 - the provider couldn’t make money.
@HMRCcustomers Hi, I called on Friday, and we discovered that the donations had been put in for this FY instead of the previous one. The advisor was struggling to change it - she said she would call me back on Friday but as of yet I’ve not heard anything. What should I do?
@HMRCcustomers hi, I called two weeks ago to give details of charitable donations of last year (as I was paying a higher rate of income tax) I expected a revised tax code for the additional gift aid - how long does this normally take. Or is it a refund you get?
@AstroAdamH@RobKnights8213@Jenny_1884 They’ll have been paying it so they have full state pensions contributions when they retire - basically paying in 900 per year to entitle them to almost £12k per year upon reaching state pensions age.
Really it’s something to help themselves, not the rest of the nation.
@yeatser@EveningExpress He has authority to permit where he flies that flag.
You are welcome to fly a flag from any property you own.
You are not allowed to fly flags from property which you don’t own - like a lamppost
