I always saw the town as a football and rugby town growing up until the recent declines.
I would say more would follow a successful footall team.

@BananaRating Growing Latics and Roughyeds were both great to watch.
Sheddings was a delight and saw I some great games at that place in the 80s.
Would be fantastic if something could be done to make these two clubs successful once again.
