@ForeverSouthend Will depend on the goals and what the expectations are set out by the club and DOF to the head coach. For example the new coach may have presented a 2 year plan to get promoted
@AG_Smithy@ecb Needs to be played at a county 1st choice ground, not a 2nd XI ground. All players involved for England are county first choice regulars so playing at beckenham is substandard.
@ForeverSouthend We were going nowhere, it’s clear the club needed new direction internally. Yes this restructuring and rebuilding might take another year or 2 to get promoted but like the chairman said, we are doing the right way and will provide longevity on the playing side!
@carter_abb22285 It’s the correct decision, yes he saw the club through the dark times, but that was different ownership, new owners building a new structure and model to get out of the league. This includes a new head coach. Football has been awful at times, hence finishing 6th in the league
@BroadcastMoose Correct decision, taken the club as far as he can, needs new direction on the pitch, timing not great after winning a cup, but had to be done soon so they can plan for next season etc.
@BroadcastMoose Having a 3 week gap from end of season to the games don’t help, players looked rusty! Should play these finals in April time just before the season ends
@TheArsenalFan1w Fantastic idea, surely will mean more younger people can get to watch the final as well, Ie children under the age of 8 will still be awake and not up till around 11pm to see the end! What’s wrong with that?
@DeanMartin94593@HornchurchFC Average of 411 for this season 🤣🤣 that’s not quite taking 1000 at regular games!
Torquay have been given double their average, that’s pretty fair I would say.
@TUFCnonleague@TUFC1899 And that’s the reason why they won’t move the game! 🙄 why should the team finishing 3rd get the advantage over the the team that finished 2nd
@JoeTune8@TUFC1899 That’s the rules though, and hats off to Hornchurch finishing second and getting the final at their ground, all the teams entered the start of season knowing this rule.
@korde_richard@TUFC1899 But they’ve never played NLS play finals at neutral grounds, it’s always been at the home of the 2nd place team, that way encourages teams to at least get to second! Can’t change the rules ahead of the game, would be unfair on Hornchurch
@SaintsDanSFC Because they deserve to go up on merit for finishing second in the league, regardless of the stadium, it’s about the team!
We already have Gateshead in the NL so why not Hornchurch,
I hope it is Hornchurch that go up
@MarkETFC01@richardpotty That’s my point! What does it matter about the stadium! Hornchurch finished 2nd in the league, it would be more fitting for the to win and go up than anyone else in the league regardless of the stadium, promotion is about clubs that deserve it not who has the best ground!
