Xcode in 20 Seconds, day 32: Multiple cursors. If you hold down Option and drag over a column of text, you can make edits in multiple places at the same time. Bonus tip: Ctrl+Shift+Click lets you place new cursors at specific points 👍
Probably the most productivity-improving thing you do can for a data science team is to create and maintain a strong, inclusive community of practice. If people on your team aren’t constantly learning from each other, you’re leaving a ton of value on the table.

@JotaSolano@minebocek That being said, it’s has come a long way from just two years ago. I keep trying. Also, out IT guy doesn’t like to update software so it could simply be an effect of our server running an older version of RStudio server. I’m using an iPad Pro with the Apple pro keyboard.
@JotaSolano@minebocek I’ve been using R on my iPad for a while now and it’s still not perfect. My hope was that I could travel with my iPad only, but it’s just not ready. Sometimes the up down arrows don’t work, or it won’t let you switch cursor focus from the console to source.
Thanks @zevross for such a comprehensive tweet that was searchable and instantly useable thanks to the comparison graphics and code examples. You rock!
I've been very impressed with the concaveman algorithm for creating a hull around points. Super-fast and easy to implement. Convex hull and concave hull compared below (#rstats package by @joelgombin, original JS script by @mourner)
A few takeaways from the @hadleywickham visit: 1) Procrastination is not a time management problem, it’s an emotional problem 2) Think of a GitHub profile as a public resumé and treat it as such 3) Allot specific time for travel/service/etc. each month to avoid overload! #phdchat
