🖤 I’m bummed, but so grateful for the 5½+ yrs w/ my incredible team.

@roopikarisam Yeah, I took a solid, umm like 15 years off riding, but always knew I wanted to come back to it, and I cherish being an adult beginner. There's something about it that's humbling and rewarding in a way that feels precious and rare at this stage in my life. 🐎🖤

@roopikarisam @Elijah_Meeks Nice!! Grew up riding at Pine Tree (I think in Ipswich), but, yeah, VT/NH much more 💸 friendly for boarding. (Boarding a horse in coastal MA is basically more than my mortgage in Montana)

Toro (short for Totoro) did NOT like our working equitation (mainly Western) clinic because he loathes standing still (literally the hardest thing in the world for this boy). We're very bad at dressage, but 🤷‍♀️

@roopikarisam @Elijah_Meeks He's an Andalusian Thoroughbred cross. He is a former Mexican Rodeo horse, which has been quite an entertaining experience training him to do dressage and a little cross-country. He's a character and a half.

@brodriguesco I’m not sure (it’s possible). For some reason, I literally remapped my command, control, and options keys on my Mac years ago, and now have to redo it every time I get a new one basically through trial and error. I know I should just stop, maybe I’ll do it this time.
