@almurray Haha, fair enough!
But as a PSA for anyone visting almost anywhere in Florence (but esp. Uffizi & Academia) book online & pick up then waltz past the queues.
There are even firms that will do it for you & a rep meets you outside if you can’t navigate Italian websites.
Listening to this episode & hearing @almurray & James bemoaning the queue for the Uffizi in Florence - here’s a little help for anyone;
You can book your tickets online, pick up on the day & walk past the entire queue of daft tourists who didn’t! https://t.co/FEhjsjfiGv
@anon_opin The perfect excuse to link the superb Jay Rayner review of a kebab he ate outside Salt Baes Knightsbridge restaurant.

@anon_opin Boxing Day is top by some distance.
Sit in your pyjamas & eat all day, stay in bed, go to the football, hit the sales, watch tv, play with your new toys, take a long walk, a day of whatever your indulgence is, with no obligation.
(All due apologies to those who have to work)

Yep, checks out.
And that’s just my era.
@anon_opin It’s called clustering & you see it in many forms, but retail is more easily visible.
At a simplified level say you have opened & are successfully running a coffee shop. If I’m looking to open a coffee shop too then being close to you makes sense as customers are already there.
