Alastair Campbell, "You were lied too.. I understand why you voted for Brexit.. Johnson, Farage, these conmen were coming along and offering you something that was going to make your lives better.. I don't blame you for voting for Brexit, I blame them for lying to you." #BBCQT
"Net migration has doubled since Brexit"
If you voted for Brexit to stop immigration (and that's why many did, despite all the "sovereignty" rewriting)- you've been had
Your gullibility cost you your free movement (and more importantly that of your children, and the rest of us)
Littering is an actual crime and carries a fixed penalty charge of £150.
@metpoliceuk how many fixed penalty fines for littering did you give out this weekend?
@Ameer_Kotecha What are you talking about? Literally any country in the world can gather a crowd and fly some planes overhead. We have record NHS waiting lists, the highest ever number of food banks, and 3.9 million children living in poverty. This silly British exceptionalism needs to stop.
The monarchy represents exclusion, elitism and hereditary power and privilege at the expense of everyone else. There are no good reasons for keeping it.
The police have arrested what appear to be peaceful republican protesters in Trafalgar Square. It’s in everybody’s interests, especially the Met’s, that they explain exactly why as soon as possible. No matter what you think about monarchy, this is a deeply disturbing moment.
@MittensOff The problem with Gullis is that when he gets voted out he’ll go back to being a teacher, which is probably more harmful to society than just being “that prick” MP from Stoke.
Worth noting that since 2019 there have been more #Conservative MPs convicted of sex offences than there have been people convicted of voter fraud. Does make you wonder why they introduced the voter ID requirement, doesn't it? #votersuppression
Since when is “undermining a celebration” a police matter? At least 60% of the country thinks the “coronation” is nonsense - how will their voices be heard?
Our tolerance for any disruption, whether through protest or otherwise, will be low.
We will deal robustly with anyone intent on undermining this celebration.

"I'm the cybersecurity director at NSA and you could absolutely craft a phishing message that would get me to click a link. You’ve got to design your architecture to assume the humans are humans and bad things will happen." @RGB_Lights
AMEN
@UKLabour WTF is this crap? Stop this juvenile nonsense and tell us your vision for the country under Labour. I want mature, measured and intelligent leadership. This isn’t that.
Let's set this out for the hard-of-thinking: before we left the EU, British passports didn't have to be stamped to get into France. Since Brexit, they do have to be stamped. Stamping a passport takes longer than not stamping a passport. Hence delays.
Suella Braverman says it's unfair to say long queues at Dover caused by post-Brexit passport checks are "adverse effect" of leaving EU.
"This is a busy time of year," she tells #SophyRidgeSky but says situation improving.
