Despite being the prime contractual teacher collaboration time the existing ones are rarely used for this but driven by admin and accountability activities. If extras are used for more of the same they will not have impact.

Time for subject specific professional learning is so important. The mistake of focusing on skills over knowledge was made twice: first in the curriculum for students, and in development for teachers.
