BRIAN WAKEFIELD: 1934 - 2026
All at Corinthian-Casuals were devastated to hear that Brian Wakefield has passed away at the age of 91.
Brian was a towering figure in the club’s history, whose association with us goes back to 1959, when he first joined as a goalkeeper. He later played for the Schools XI, which he subsequently ran for many decades, alongside a highly successful Veterans team.
He also had a spell as our first-team manager for two seasons from 1979, and served as Club Secretary between 1993 and 2004.
Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
Corinthian-Casuals are partnering with Sicilian club @Palermofficial and @calcioinglese for @nonleaguedayuk this weekend.
The idea behind the media collaboration is to boost awareness of the English non-league scene and introduce our club's story to a new audience in Italy.

After photographing at airshows the past few years, I put my pics and design skills into practice and made my own Top Trumps card game. Happy with how they turned out.
Our graphics, both visual and motion, along with our photographs are produced by Stuart Tree - and he's looking for work at the moment.
If you, or someone you know, could put his creative skills to professional use, contact him @stuarttree or email [email protected]
Corinthian-Casuals started the new year in fine fashion with a 3-1 win away at Balham in the Combined Counties League.
Here's @StuartTree's match report.

Has anyone else started to read the brilliant 'This Way Up' and found yourself reading alternate paragraphs in @jayforeman and @markcooperjones voices? It's happening to me!
