@slowbreakdown @WabuuTheRaccoon @bobservo And when his intent isn’t understood, and he tries to explain, he’s criticized for doubling down, often when it’s clear that his words have not been understood. I have trouble faulting him for trying to explain himself.

@slowbreakdown @WabuuTheRaccoon @bobservo He’s being called out repeatedly by people with large numbers of Twitter followers, with jokes mocking what he said, rather than attempts at explaining why they’ve taken issue. It has crossed over into bullying IMO.

@bobservo Wow, you really are doubling down on being abusive towards him. Whether you are ok with his analogy or not, it’s clear it wasn’t made in bad faith, and why he thought it was apt. You respond by mocking him, this time for actions he didn’t even make himself. This is disheartening.
