Houston update: few more changes to 6 and 9 so they're not just mirrored, their waist lines are also different. Lot of the "corners" in Houston are vibed into existence & unique to that specific glyph--no uniformity. ngl, it looks sick and I am happy. It is prod ready.

I think about the brand strategy, identity, and system build we did for the rename and relaunch of the Penta Group brand from 2021—2022 *all the time*.
I'm prepping a short little case study for the LinkedIns and this little exploratory moment is still one of my favorites. Brand identity systems have to be able to flex:

↳ Functional for data viz
↳ Strong, but flexy during black ops / r&d

A few months ago, I had the distinct privilege of working with the marketing team at neverthirst, a clean water nonprofit, on bringing life to their 2023 End of Year giving campaign.
They worked with the gifted Tara Shupe on capturing the beauty and life and work of distinct communities they serve in Ethiopia. The campaign I designed was meant to frame and adorn the beauty that's already there.
