I just spoke with a very upset Officer Michael Fanone. It’s #PoliceWeek and for weeks Ofc. Fanone has made multiple requests to talk to @GOPLeader. He wants to show McCarthy what he experienced on 1/6. Today he was hung up on by McCarthy’s staff. RT if Kevin should meet a hero.
I use supplemental oxygen and couldn't stand in a line for even a half-hour. My ID isn't current and I don't have ready access to a printer.
In California none of that negatively impacts my ability to vote.
In Georgia, it would make voting impossible, regardless of my race.

On 3/21/19, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern proposed a ban on semi-automatic weapons.
On 4/10/19, that law passed.
Since that day, there have been 1,145 mass shootings in the United States.

#TwitterHistoryTeachers: There is a very long history of anti-Asian American violence in the United States. Today would be a good day to have your students learn about it and reflect on how we can stop it. Here is an easy-to-read primer for students. https://t.co/l4IRQhWqzg
By law, the VERY FIRST ppl excluded from the US were Asian/Chinese women in the 1880s. Then came The Chinese Exclusion Act. This country has hated Chinese/Asian ppl and specifically Asian women for well over a century. Talk abt this history of hate. Name it. See it.
