@LukeGromen Harley is as smart as they come, and has a great track record, but it does seem like with DXY already elevated, a surprise 50bp hike has a high risk of spiking DXY much higher with strong potential for a currency crisis that would make the "cure" worse than the "disease".
@ConvexityMaven I can't argue with your logic or your track record, but it does seem like with DXY already elevated, a surprise 50bp hike has a high risk of spiking DXY much higher with strong potential for a currency crisis that would make the "cure" worse than the "disease".

@Alan_Couzens I'm 69 with a VO2 = 50 but my training routine is essentially what you described for the 50 year old group. About 30 miles a week, with 80% of time zone 2 , 15% zone 4, 5% zone 5.
I think, a multi-dimensional bear market.
Perhaps the "shot heard 'round the world" was our confiscation of Russian reserves, but also China stealing IP from foreign companies operating there...Now Anthropic going into competition with the same pharma companies that have been using their models for R&D (which Anthropic can monitor). Throw in the global trend towards nationalism.
I'm not a globalist, but we're on a track that doesn't end well.
@TgMacro RSI is something that I pay attention to, but don't rely on.....but positive divergence at yesterdays new lows is also something to throw into the decision mix.
