Campaign offices opened Sunday in Surrey as the 2026 B.C. provincial election campaign gets underway.
BC NDP MLAs Garry Begg and Amna Shah held a joint campaign office opening with supporters and volunteers. Begg is seeking re-election in Surrey-Guildford, while Shah is seeking re-election in Surrey City Centre. Both currently represent their respective ridings in the B.C. Legislature.
During the event, Begg spoke about healthcare, affordability and public services and criticized the B.C. Conservatives.
B.C. voters will elect 93 MLAs on October 24, 2026.
