Does anybody else feel like they can do more to serve students in a virtual classroom than they can in a brick and mortar classroom that is socially distanced, plexiglassed, masked, and set in rows? I think there is a real possibility that I will be less effective when we return.

I’m able to tutor 1-2 children online in reading (including phonics and comprehension), writing, and offer support with EAL, free of charge.

Statistics in the press today show that primary school children in the UK are approximately three months behind in their education as a result of lockdown. Those three months will soon become years if there is not the right support in place to help those children catch up now.
