@Master4Colin@theGRDC@merindie1@bennyob@RobGindurra @NSWDPI_AGRONOMY @CSIRO You did well getting the south Australian slug specialist in. I asked him about benefits of companion planting and he mentioned a trial planned to go ahead this year with buckwheat. Was too dry at site though. Tip my hat to the LLS food trailer too👍
@lawbal44@Jaco5959 It’s a fine line this year Lawrence. I think I prefer it to the island of rubbish on the wet soak and the extra headlands they create.

125mm of rain 10 days ago causing a few problems. Red steer being drafted in to help dry out paddocks for canola. Tracks and horsepower are a wonderful thing.
No he’s not repairing a pipe. Big thanks to Ian Packer and Wooly for their insights on the wet areas of our paddocks. MLL looking at an area too wet to traffic in 23 grazed cover crop with roots to 80cm not drinking enough yet.
@Fox_Farming That is certainly a serious funnel Dan. Gives a bit of flex too no doubt. The longer swing aways look to give the bigger unloads per shift. Thanks
We moved our bags to a central area with good access this year after having trouble accessing bags in the paddock last year.Slower and more labour to fill from a truck.About 8t per truck/auger move. Neighbour suggested 10ft pvc off auger to get more t per move. Any other ideas?
@JarrodAmery Thanks Jared our auger is a little shorter than yours but the principle seems simple enough even if it had to be on the side a little. Thanks for sharing.
