I would add this analogy.

Everyone thought breaking the 4-minute mile was impossible. In 1954 Roger Bannister broke it. Once he did many others quickly followed suit.

Why?

Because he proved it could be done. It changed the sport forever.

@RobertKennedyJr is running the independent version of the 4 min mile. People think it's impossible.

If he can break it more great independent candidates will come forth & win bc someone proved it could be done.

Then you will have the power base to enact RCV and a host of other policies that are for and by the people.

We need to help Bobby break his 4-minute mile equivalent...

RCV is great but asking an independent to fix that going into a tough POTUS contest in a fractured country seems challenging, at best.

The DNC and RNC will never support RCV for POTUS until a non-DNC/RNC candidate wins that office. Even then we will need at least two midterms where more independents take over slots held for decades by DNC and RNC fossils.

I know the logic of "well if we had RCV more independents would win..."

But the DNC and RNC have such a stranglehold on politics, money, and voting rules we need to rally around an independent POTUS candidate as the first domino to drive a different political landscape where RCV is encouraged organically.

Rarely do I talk to someone who says they disagree with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on policy.

It's always, "but he can't win. It's Trump or Biden."

The idea that we are so enslaved by the two-party system that we MUST vote for a lesser of two evils is entrenched in the American psyche, a product of corporate brainwashing.

Throughout history, we've had a few special opportunities to disrupt the system - but never believed in ourselves enough to vote when it counts.

In 1992, Ross Perot had the poll numbers to beat Bush and Clinton. We know now that if everyone had voted based on their polling preferences, we would've had our first independent President since, well, George Washington.

Today we stand at a crossroads in American history. For the first time in decades, we have an even greater chance of breaking the two-party system.

Joe Biden is out of the race entirely. It's a matter of time before we have a replacement.

And Trump still loses to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in a landslide, according to polls.

The question is: can Americans change their mindset?

Will we realize we are truly free?

Or are we too disillusioned to rescue ourselves from the corporate stranglehold on our politics?

This is our chance... if only we dare to seize it.
