I'm welling up after watching the feedback from our recent accessibility testing. The genuine delight and excitement about _filling out a form_ reminds me that the hard work we do to make our product usable by all is not just a compliance tick but actually worth it.
@peduarte@addyosmani It's been a while but I think he you can do this out of the box with Vimeo. It gives you complete control over the logo, scrubber colour etc. worthy of a try
@philhawksworth I feel like this is the lost art of web development, like in the movies when our hero climbs the mountain to find enlightenment and the answer was in front of them all along.
After dipping my toe back into work after 6 weeks of parental leave I'm acutely aware of where my stress levels were when I left. Take this as a gentle reminder to step away for a short while if you can. Your mental health can be seriously degraded without even knowing it. โ๏ธ
Being on parental leave is awesome, but so is sitting for one afternoon and just writing code. Nice to engage my technical brain for the first time in weeks.
