#sapsFS [ALLEGED ROBBERY SUSPECTS TRACED AND APPREHENDED IN THABONG]

The Welkom #AntiGangUnit has arrested two males aged 30 and 32. The alleged suspects were #WANTED in connection with a robbery case that was recently reported in Thabong.

On Sunday, 13/09, members attached to the Welkom AGU were conducting crime duties when they received information on the whereabouts of one of the wanted suspects. The alleged suspect was subsequently found and arrested.

Further investigations led police to the second suspect in Oppenheimer Park, Thabong. During the second arrest, police recovered a laptop charger, backpack, a hat and an adapter plug that were reported stolen during the robbery. Police also seized two big knives presumed to have been used during the commission of the crime.

The recovered items were positively identified by the complainant. The third alleged suspect is yet to be arrested.

According to information, on Saturday, 05/09, the complainant was on his way to his place of residence when he was accosted by three males. Two of them were allegedly wielding knives and attempted to stab him before robbing him of his belongings.

A case of robbery with a weapon other than a firearm was registered for further investigation.

The two arrested suspects are expected to appear before the Welkom Magistrate’s Court soon.

#sapsEC [FOUR ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS AWAITING DEPORTATION AFTER COURT APPEARANCE]

On 10/09, Ngcobo Magistrate’s Court remanded four (4) illegal immigrants in custody for deportation, and one (1) was fined R2 000.00 for expired identity documentation. The five (5) suspects were arrested by Ilinge SAPS, Komani SAPS, Tsomo SAPS, Chris Hani District Task Team, with the Department of Home Affairs and Eastern Cape Liquor Board being external force levels during #OperationShanela2 at Ngcobo on 9 September 2026.

The operational concept was high visibility in hotspot areas, stop and search, searching for illegal firearms, drug trafficking, checking compliance at taverns and closure of shebeens, and identification of illegal immigrants.

Fines to the total cash value of R14 681.00 were issued for various offences, including selling liquor without a licence, consumption of liquor in a seating braai place and failure to appoint a person to manage the business. During the closure of shebeens, large volumes of liquor were confiscated.

During the operation, five (5) illegal immigrants, aged between 19 and 28, were identified and arrested.

The Department of Home Affairs processed the suspects. All the suspects appeared before Ngcobo Magistrate’s Court on 10 September 2026. Four (4) suspects were remanded in custody awaiting finalisation of deportation processes, while one was fined as his documents had expired.

Correctional officials at Leeuwkop Maximum Correctional Centre in Gauteng have foiled an attempt to smuggle drugs into the facility.

During routine security screening on 13 September 2026, officials searched a radio brought in during a scheduled visit and discovered 140 Mandrax tablets, 32g of crystal methamphetamine and 216g of cannabis concealed inside.

Four people allegedly involved in the attempted smuggling were detained and handed over to SAPS, along with the confiscated drugs, for further investigation.

The Department of Correctional Services says the seizure highlights ongoing attempts to introduce contraband into correctional facilities and the importance of vigilant security screening.

Nigerian National Arrested In Kimberley After Alert Police Officer Spots Suspected Drug Deal And Police Find Cellphones And Samsung Tablets

An alert police official in Kimberley has been commended after his intervention led to the arrest of a 40-year-old Nigerian male national and the seizure of suspected illicit drugs, cash and suspected stolen electronic goods. The incident occurred at about 09:00 on Friday, 11 September 2026, in West End and Herlear.

The Northern Cape Provincial Operational Response Services member had briefly returned to his private residence to collect his wallet when he noticed what appeared to be a suspicious transaction nearby. He intervened, resulting in the discovery of suspected khat, undisclosed cash believed to be proceeds of crime and three cellphones. Kimberley SAPS members then assisted.

During further enquiries, the suspect initially provided an incorrect New Park address before disclosing his correct residence in Herlear. Police searched the premises and seized six additional cellphones and four Samsung tablets with an estimated combined value of approximately R160,000. A vehicle believed to have been used in the commission of crime was also confiscated.

The suspect is expected to appear in the Kimberley Magistrates’ Court soon, facing charges relating to possession of suspected illicit drugs and suspected stolen property. Additional charges may follow as investigations continue. SAPS encouraged the public to report suspected criminal activity anonymously through CrimeStop at 08600 10111 or the MySAPSApp.

Let's start here with Inqguza Hill Municipality corruption: This is ANC NEC member & Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Rosemary Capa. She & her family practically own Inqguza Hill Municipality, through such as her daughter Sibongile Vatsha in the second picture.

Sibongile Vatsha is the Speaker of Inqguza Hill Municipality, & the Deputy Chairperson of the ANC OR Tambo Region, of which the Inqguza Hill Municipality falls under this district.

Another of Rosemary Capa's daughter is Ntandokazi Capa, who is the MEC for Health in the Eastern Cape, but she continues to meddle in Inqguza Hill Municipality affairs. She's a former Mayor of Inqguza Hill Municipality. She's in the third picture posted here.

The Capa family practically owns Inqguza Hill Municipality, & is primarily responsible for the looting of this Municipality, so I will be digging & exposing all their shenanigans.

Unfortunately for the Capa family though, the ANC failed to submit the ward & mayoral candidates list for the Inqguza Hill Municipality, where Sibongile Vatsha was set to become the next mayor of Inqguza Hill Municipality, so the ANC is currently off the ballot.
