@WG_RumblePants @finnysteve is the bomb. I would add that the general standard of commentary is very high. I want more than the game itself. I want a sense of place.

[stuart phillips @stuphil73]

@WG_RumblePants @huwzat Or indeed in real life. Also, we need to bring back 'Heavens to Murgatroyd'....

[stuart phillips @stuphil73]

@AnnieChave If only we had summer months where we could play proper cricket. Alas...

[stuart phillips @stuphil73]

@highbrow_nobrow Why qualify the statement with 'modern'? Or 'presidential'?

[BladeoftheSun @BladeoftheS]

Elon Musk is hiding this video of Bill Burr ripping him apart.

So don't RT it.

Or do if you don't like Elon Musk.

[stuart phillips @stuphil73]

@WG_RumblePants I've only ever watched 1 game (the 1st one. You have to give these things a chance...). I've switched off the latest already. If people need to be told something is brilliant and exciting, it isn't. Let's hope it vanishes without a trace. Egregiously cretinous.

[stuart phillips @stuphil73]

@NotTheHundred Or adjectives like "exciting"...

[stuart phillips @stuphil73]

@opposethe100 Tbf, this is wholly inaccurate. '2 premier short-form competitions' is hardly correct....

[stuart phillips @stuphil73]

@opposethe100 When will people realise that this tournament is a waste of time and money? No one in their right mind is going to risk injury before CWC.

[stuart phillips @stuphil73]

@NotTheHundred The F word looms large over the whole thing. T20 has been enjoyable and is county-based. Hopefully, the whole Franchise nonsense will die asap!

[stuart phillips @stuphil73]

@NotTheHundred I watched the 1st 2 matches, I can confirm they were boring- no variety in the play, no light and shade.

[stuart phillips @stuphil73]

@CrikFan45 @AnnieChave @benstokes38 @CrikFan45 I can assure you it's you who doesn't understand.

[stuart phillips @stuphil73]

@CrikFan45 @AnnieChave @benstokes38 @crikfan45 I don't think you understand.

[stuart phillips @stuphil73]

@CrikFan45 @AnnieChave @benstokes38 @CrikFan45 please name a franchise in any of the football competitions you've given...

[stuart phillips @stuphil73]

@lancscccaction @RoyalLondonCup I assume the bitesize highlights are for those who haven't got sufficient attention spans for the full game?...

[stuart phillips @stuphil73]

I am going to Tennessee Fields!! https://t.co/a3g3hS4WPU

[stuart phillips @stuphil73]

@jonathancairns Yes!! Top performance.

[Joe Cullen @JoeCullen97]

4 grands worth of my tools nicked from a job in Brentwood, if anyone’s offered any Milwaukee power tools or anything else with my name/initials on please contact me ASAP

[stuart phillips @stuphil73]

@ESPNcricinfo It was average, nowhere near as good as a T20. Made far worse by the exaggerated "fake" excitement and outrageous marketing. Utterly appalling and deserves to sink without trace. Hopefully, heads will roll but I doubt it.
