@nicolelampert P.S. I have major concerns about Israeli govt but need to differentiate between that and a commitment to defend the secure existence & success of Israel with every breath in my body.
@nicolelampert To ask the government not to make poorly informed announcements that singularly blame Israel, especially days before High Holy Days & weeks before Israeli election that only undermine peace & security rather than work towards it. 2/2.
@nicolelampert Not to use language such as “ethnic cleansing” that is inaccurate & incendiary when talking about Israel & to publicly recognise that the biggest oppressor of Gazans is Hamas. 1/2
@RichardOsley So Reform are happy to criticise asylum seekers for supposedly being source of of our country’s woes, but they won’t recognise a refugee who has naturalised, made her home here and has given back through community work & as elected representative for decades. Hypocrites!
@SamanthaNiblet4 Dear Samantha, Precisely, nobody’s sex is “assigned” at birth. All sex is determined at conception and is generally recorded at birth. You’re welcome!
@owenjonesjourno Goes two ways Owen. You have a valid argument but then you seriously weaken it by failing to stand up for the likes of Maureen Lipman or JK Rowling. Either you defend freedom of speech for those with whom you disagree or you don’t defend it at all.
@AllianceLGB This is great. Will wait to see how many performative HR departments embrace this like they do LGBTQ+ History month, Pride month, trans days of awareness, visibility, remembrance etc and IDAHOBIT and so on. I’ll wait but I won’t hold my breath.

@ZiaYusufUK “My parents were wonderful and gave decades of service to the NHS as a doctor and nurse. But woe betide them if THEY wanted to seek public office. Bloody foreigners.”
@LibbyTard17 Funny how my timeline is full of TRAs telling people not to watch something. Almost as if they’re invested in the new Harry Potter series success. Thanks for letting me know. Oh, and trans people have human rights, just not the right to undermine others’ human rights.
@GonzoGorillaz I will enjoy this series as I did books & films before. 3 things:
1. Cancelling art because you disagree with its creator is fast track to authoritarian hell.
2. Protecting women & children isn’t anti trans.
3 Haven’t seen a single transphobic word from @jk_rowling anywhere ever.
@soniasodha Hmmm, didn’t Harman herself come into parliament 7 months pregnant? Why can’t she celebrate the best person for job getting promoted regardless of maternity & the laws (that she was an architect of) that embeds such practices, without it being a “woke token”?
