@Syndicate@The110Farm
Could be an idea for a little Sunday job for local teenagers or something, where they wheelbarrow pumpkins over to people’s cars and then bring the wheelbarrows back. I don’t know if that’d actually be possible, but it could be a good idea.
@StuPidditey@PolitlcsUK Also, as you can see, I previously stated this before your response. You simply didn’t care enough to read it properly before replying.
@StuPidditey@PolitlcsUK The exact same applies to Boris Johnson and Joy Morrissey, who were both born in America, with Joy Morrissey currently serving as an MP. If you are not British-born, how can you truly represent British values to the same extent as someone who was?
@PolitlcsUK And I hold the same belief for anyone in any political party across the political spectrum, not just Labour or the left. It’s about the principle, not the party.
@PolitlcsUK If you weren’t born British, I don’t believe you can represent British values to the same extent that should be expected from someone holding such an important role.
@TheGreenParty politics are fucking ridiculous. Everything they push is pure poison that will be massively detrimental to this country and permanently destroy the British way of life.
They’re a party full of raging hypocrites, if you support them you are a retard.
@Syndicate I live in on my own and furniture I couldnt even fill a suitcase with all my clothes and belongings I hate having stuff I've got 4 pairs of shoes rn and that pisses me off.
@DuxVul My landlord paid for a new roof recently...
Gets pipes, electrics, gas systems serviced yearly.
Anything I do buy or have to 'fix' he'll knock the price off the rent... Like when the toilet flush broke.
Butttt private landlords are the problems.
FUCK THE GREEN PARTY

@afcBased@AVoiceAssistant@PolitlcsUK@thetimes Greens wanting to tax landlords to death hurts regular people, not just corporations. My landlord is just an old man relying on his property for retirement. Excessive taxes force small landlords to sell, shrinking rental supply & leaving the market open for corporate takeovers.
@jordanrstokes@jakelchambers@PolitlcsUK@thetimes “Only fair landlord is one that’s not for profit” is ideological nonsense. Making a reasonable profit doesn’t make someone exploitative. If a landlord provides a decent home, charges fair rent and looks after their tenants, what exactly is unfair about them making a living?

@jordanrstokes@jakelchambers@PolitlcsUK@thetimes It’s not “hyperbole” when the motion explicitly calls to phase out private landlordism by banning buy-to-let mortgages and hiking taxes until it’s unprofitable. That’s a policy directly targeting good, fair landlords, too.
