Come on @DavidDJJames you need to let it go. The Norsemen playing at the GHS “old gym” was never the recipe for CIF success! 😜 Signed…a guy who played in the GHS “new gym’”
@benzodeluxe No big deal. That's me at Valley View a few times a week! Player's handshake is awesome. He was probably asking someone to also punch him in the abs.
@gregwrubell Yes...season ending injuries to Baker and Pickens are factors but this team just tries to hold on when any of the "Big 3" needs a breather. Bench play is just brutal and opposing teams know it.
@gregwrubell If you would have told me AJ and Wright would go a combined 9-40 from the field and the team would have a chance to win at the end, there would be few believers. First half doldrums continue to be an issue but if they can figure that out, dangerous team in post season.
@975Hans I thought that was odd for Chase to bring that up in the post game radio interview. He is rather articulate and guarded by what he says so I wouldn’t automatically discount it.
@Spencer_Linton Yes…there are other benefits. Seniors with a final opportunity to play, added practice time, bowl game activities etc. but it feels inevitable that most bowls cant survive at the payouts they are used to.
@Spencer_Linton One other thing…college bowl games are becoming irrelevant right before our eyes. It’s CFP or bust. Expand to 24 and be done with it.
Bowl games are nothing more than the equivalent of the NIT or CBI in college basketball post season.
@Spencer_Linton Fair point. When SEC commish Sankey is advocating 7 SEC schools to make the CFP, you already have a biased and flawed selection system. ND's actions, however, provide added fuel to the gross negligence taking place.
@gregwrubell You want a way to get the bad taste out of your mouth with the TT loss and get Cougar Nation fired up again? Figure out a way to get a Notre Dame bowl game matchup. Make it happen!
@gregwrubell Heck of a year! That said...can't blame Kalani for exploring the PSU opportunity but the team played with a "is he staying or going" hangover that had to have an impact with game prep.
