[Hyperliquid @HyperliquidX]

Thank you to everyone who traveled near and far to make it to Monday's community event. Multiple members of the ecosystem hosted their own events to celebrate Hyperliquid and the community throughout the week. Thank you to every organizer for the hard work and dedication behind each one.

The builder booths were a highlight for many. To everyone building on Hyperliquid: thank you for bringing more of finance onchain and spreading the word.

Since last year, even more builders, users, and institutions have contributed to the ecosystem's growth. Hyperliquid's vision is to be infrastructure to house all finance, and every year, that vision becomes more of a reality.

@crypto_adair What about 600 hype?

[PCStop @PokeCardStop]

In light of Pokémon announcing the return of Star Pokémon, I thought this would be a good time to revisit the original Gold Star Pokémon cards.

Gold Star Pokémon were first released in the 2004 Japanese set, Rocket Gang Strikes Back. This would later be translated to the English set, ex Team Rocket Returns. This set showed off all three Hoenn Starters as Gold Star cards.

Gold Star cards featured shiny variants of the depicted Pokémon. Other than the ‘shining’ cards from the neo series, these were the first shiny Pokémon cards featured in the TCG.

All of these cards are illustrated by the incredibly talented Masakazu Fukuda. Because of this, we can see an obviously similar theme and style that the Gold Star cards have, even spread across the multiple sets they were released in.

Additionally, Gold Star cards include some of the very first instances of Pokémon artwork expanding past their art box. In some ways, these are the very first renditions of Pokémon experimenting with larger artworks across cards.

In 2021, Gold Star cards made their reappearance to the TCG after nearly 15 years with the rerelease of the Umbreon Gold Star card for the 25th anniversary set, Celebrations. Additionally, this set included a brand new Greninja Gold Star card as the black star promo! This was, once again, illustrated by Masakazu Fukuda.

Now, do I think the ex Star variant will be like the Gold Stars? No probably not. It’ll likely be a new mechanic for the TCG similar to the VStar mechanic.

But, I’ll take any opportunity to talk about cool vintage Pokémon cards, so here we are ✨

So now that we're all into Gold Stars and CoroCoro, anyone interested in getting these?

Rayquaza Gold Star PSA 9 Japanese
Pikachu Poncho Rayquaza BGS 9.5
CoroCoro Mew PSA 9

Can do through CollectorCrypt, or similar. Crypto only gg

[stuxfred.hl @stuxfred_hl]

After a few misses I pulled a Rayquaza Gold Star and a Gengar from @Collector_Crypt 's $5k gacha back to back. Had to sell them to recoup some losses lol

Anyways, I have a PSA 9 Rayquaza Gold Star (Japanese) and I'm willing to sell it if anyone is interested gg
