@rodeo_crypro 1. the buyback rate from revenue differs, 99% for hl, 50% for pump
2. inconsistency / trust, pump reduced buyback rate before, 50% rate applies for 1 year, what if next year it goes lower, hl has been consistent in giving back money to its token holder through buyback.

the launchpad & hosting service for open weight models
i understand that surplus has other mechanics like stake to earn credit which equates to 1$ of inference but the feature that im interested in is the LLM launchpad,
with surplus LLM launchpad almost every open model developer can tokenize their models and enable broader accessibility,
e.g as a user back when supergemma claimed their token you can't try the model without going to hugging face and set it up yourself on your PC, the model dev can't make it more accessible without hosting model, surplus LLM launchpad solves the accessibility part for both user & dev, user pays credit, dev get distro without the infra hassle.
incentive for model owner to launch:
30% from trading fees + another 30% from paid usage + no hosting infra headache
pro:
1. novel idea improving open model accessibility
2. nice value accrual (10% from trading fees goes to buyback and burn, ideally we want to see some buyback from the usage payments as well)
cons:
1. might be copied / failed to gain traction
2. unknown dev
what we want to see is more open weight models launching via surplus LLM launchpad, especially more renown w/ doxxed dev models, with an addition value accrual from the listed models transaction
nice bonus if open models tokenization meta gains traction will be interaction from robinhood team.
@SurplusRH will the param cap ever be increased to accommodate bigger models? if so when? because i think it will be great if bigger / more models can launch on the LLM launchpad @SurplusRH , e.g something like @0xSUPERGEMMA & @dphnAI
@SurplusRH thanks, i think it would be a bit better if some of it goes for buyback and burn surplus, maybe 10% just so every product line launched by surplus accrue value to the token @SurplusRH

novel project on solana comparable to uniswap v4 hooks which has proven to have traction on robinhood
pro: 1% fee from every trade from launches goes into protocol, 15% goes to opex, 85% buyback and burn
con: unknown dev, hookr has uniswap and (even though serial) known dev
main idea hinges on whether or not the hook concept catches traction on solana, bonus point if it gets interaction from the meteora &/ solana team due to its novelty.
just fyi despite being only live for less than a week, yesterday solana:C1mBfBoDkwWfd6uTFZp62ARHLjeVp3bDpCDMfMZtPngE flipped robinhood:0x18e674231a58c239dc7daedcffe15ec3a24cff5c stats by 3x, the first one is sitting at 5M vs 20M (take this with a grain of salt), if they can sustain & continue this growth well then some repricing is imminent.
