Happy World Book Day! We are celebrating all day in the library today with competitions including guess which bookshelf belongs to which staff member, bookmark decorating, book reviews and a special competition from English - match the teacher to the Macbeth character!
Exciting News! Our annual Book Fair is back from 13th - 20th November at the LRC!
Students can explore a wide range of books and stock up on all the stationery essentials. Don't miss out on this great opportunity to support literacy and discover new reads!

The book fair will also be open during Year 7 parents evening, so parents and students are able to come and browse/purchase then! We hope to see you there.
The Scholastic Book Fair will be arriving to the LRC on Weds 20th March until Weds 27th March! It will be open every break and lunch for students to buy books/stationary. Parents can purchase vouchers in advance here https://t.co/A1aQtfjn1a but cash will be accepted on the day.

HOUSE SPORTS DAY 2023
We've had an incredible day over at Witton Park Athletics track for our annual House Sports Day. Even with the earlier rain, we saw a fantastic array of talent and sportsmanship on display. Well done to Exeter for winning the overall event on the day! 💛

Incredible day celebrating our diverse community - with students expressing themselves through clothing, Luca bringing in authentic items from Mozambique in Geography, and the Salam Project giving sessions on celebrating diversity!
KOREAN TASTER SESSIONS
We recently had Mrs J Lee from @UCLan join us to deliver Korean taster sessions for some of our Y8-10 students. They learned about South Korea, how to write and speak a few sentences in Korean, and even got to try on some traditional Korean clothing!
BOLTON BOOK AWARDS
KS3 Book Club had a wonderful time @BoltonSch for the #BCFA2023 yesterday. They were thrilled to meet @JenniferKillick and that she was the overall winner for her book #Dreadwood
