Among the many talented students that received their diploma at today's @UTRGV commencement ceremony, were a cohort of very special individuals. This group is the first to graduate with PhDs in Physics from UTRGV, many of whom worked closely with mentors from @STXSpaceScience!
I am excited to share that my research article is now published in Science and featured on the cover! I am very grateful to all of the coauthors (Lawrence, @sedimentdynamic, Alex, @timgoudge ) for this major team effort.
Thank you @NSF and @utrgv for the support
Hollmann works at the intersection of electromagnetics, sensors, and AI, developing new ways to “see” things that are normally hidden—whether that is measuring blood flow in the brain, tracking changes in glaciers, or sending info thru challenging environments on Earth/in space.
Next Tuesday, Dec. 2, @STXSpaceScience will host a special guest for the last IFSS event of the Fall 2025 semester.
Don't miss out as @DraperLab 's Dr. Hollmann "shines a light" on his research, utilizing photons to measure everything from the microscopic to the planetary scale!
This milestone event will feature leading scientists, engaging presentations, and exciting discussions about the past and future of gravitational wave astronomy.

Great day at the International Space Development Conference — our @VanderbiltU Lunar Labs team had the chance to talk with @rookisaacman about @LIGO and gravitational-wave science.
Thank you @nss for inviting us and hosting a session on LILA — the first gravitational-wave experiment on the Moon to probe the fundamental nature of gravity! 🖖🏼
Taking place THIS Friday in Downtown Brownsville from 6-10 pm. Immerse yourself in a night full of creativity, music, food and space fun at SPACE FEST! 🚀Get in on all of the excitement, we'll see you there! 🧑🚀🪐
