@BassetBuck @LindaDulin5 Appreciate your comments. We would get that response from others just walking him down the street. George seemed to always make people smile. We just participated in a pet memorial with the local Hospice folks. It’s been tough the last couple of days.

@BassetBuck The first time, he walked right in as if all Bassets get their own elevator. We had treats ready to coax him in but it wasn’t needed. Although, he later trained my wife to give him a treat or else he wouldn’t budge. He grew accustomed to it and seemed to enjoy the ride up & down.

@LindaDulin5 @BassetBuck George needed help after a bad back injury. The vet wanted him to steer clear of steps. He had to be with us all the time, so we added the lift. He was the best dog ever and we miss him so much.
