10 महीनों में 14 बार दो चुनाव आयुक्तों -सुखबीर सिंह संधू और विवेक जोशी ने आयोग के फैसलों पर दर्ज आपत्ति जताई .उन्हें अंधेरे में रखने से लेकर नए वोटरों को जोड़ने और नाम हटाने तक के कदमों पर सवाल उठाए चुनाव आयोग द्वारा लिए गए फैसलों/कदमों पर रिकॉर्ड में आपत्ति दर्ज कराई .
दोनों आयुक्तों ने कई मामलों में कहा कि उन्हें महत्वपूर्ण फैसलों से अवगत नहीं कराया गया और कुछ फैसले उनकी जानकारी के बिना लिए गए .
आपत्तियां मुख्य रूप से नए मतदाताओं के पंजीकरण, मतदाता सूची से नाम हटाने, नाम बहाल करने और SIR (Special Intensive Revision) की प्रक्रिया से जुड़ी थीं .
एक महत्वपूर्ण आपत्ति दिल्ली में वोटर डेटाबेस तक पहुंच को केंद्रीकृत करने को लेकर थी .आरोप/आपत्ति यह थी कि इससे स्थानीय अधिकारियों को दरकिनार किया जा रहा है .
एक मामले में चुनाव आयुक्त ने नए मतदाताओं को जोड़ने से जुड़े कदम को 'अनधिकृत 'और 'अवैध 'बताया .
Form 6 में बदलाव को लेकर भी दोनों चुनाव आयुक्तों ने आपत्ति जताई . खबर के अनुसार इस बदलाव के तहत नए वोटरों से SIR के दौरान अपने माता-पिता के बारे में अतिरिक्त जानकारी मांगी जा रही थी .
खबर में कहा गया है कि आयुक्तों ने इस बदलाव को युवाओं को अनावश्यक रूप से परेशान करने वाला बताया और इसे तत्काल हटाने की मांग की .
मतदाता सूची और उसके IT सिस्टम की अखंडता और सुरक्षा को लेकर भी गंभीर चिंता दर्ज की गई

So does this Supreme Court judge want @MahuaMoitra to take bullets? What kind of motormouth persons have we appointed as judges? Is this the judicial temperament we expect of constitutional court judges? This is why we need to fix judicial accountability.

The statement is condemnation worthy. Especially when you know about the dire state of affairs in Bengal. If tomorrow anything happens to Ms. Moitra, this bench led by Justice Dipankar Datta will be responsible. He should be ashamed of his conduct. In any functional democracy, such judges would’ve been compelled to resign or be impeached!
