I think Harry genuinely believed that once he came back to the UK, he could just slip back into the role he had before everything happened and the public would welcome him like nothing had changed.
Because the amount of arrogance and self-importance he returned with, you’d think the UK had been sitting around waiting for Harry to return and save the day. And considering what people in Britain are actually dealing with, coming back demanding taxpayer-funded security while seemingly expecting the same adoration and public support he once enjoyed is incredibly tone-deaf.
I think Harry made the mistake of believing that because he was once one of the most popular royals, that affection was permanent. It wasn’t.
You can’t walk away from the institution, publicly attack it, expose private family matters, repeatedly criticize the people who stayed, complain about the country and the life you left behind, and then return expecting the very same country and its people to roll out the red carpet for you. You don’t get to spend years telling everyone how terrible the institution and the UK are, then come back demanding protection, attention and public affection as if none of it ever happened.
The Harry who left the UK was popular. The Harry returning is carrying years of baggage with him.
And the public hasn’t forgotten.
In 2005, Oneida shut the flatware factory in Sherrill, New York.
A town that had made silverware for MORE THAN 100 YEARS was supposed to be finished.
Two men refused to let that happen.
Their names are Matt Roberts and Greg Owens.
Roberts had managed that factory. Owens was another former Oneida manufacturing manager. When the company ended U.S. production, they bought the plant and the equipment and reopened it the NEXT DAY as Sherrill Manufacturing.
They did not have a giant rescue fund.
They did not have a Hollywood ending waiting.
They had a building, some machines, and a workforce that knew how to make forks, knives, and spoons.
At first they kept making product for Oneida.
Then Oneida pulled the remaining American work and sent it overseas.
That should have been the end.
It wasn’t.
They took government flatware contracts to keep the lights on. In 2010 they filed Chapter 11. They sold unused equipment. They sold space they could no longer fill. They leased back only the part of the factory they could still run.
They came out of bankruptcy in 2013.
Then they did the thing that saved the company.
They built their own brand: Liberty Tabletop.
They sold 18/10 stainless flatware straight to customers who wanted tableware MADE IN THE UNITED STATES.
Not through a department store that could drop them overnight.
Direct.
Today Liberty Tabletop is the only company still manufacturing stainless steel flatware in America.
Same town.
Same trade.
U.S. steel.
About 70 jobs.
They did not bring back 2,000 workers. Nobody did.
What they saved was the last line.
If you want American-made forks and spoons, this is the factory that still makes them.
Support Liberty Tabletop.
THIS is what keeping manufacturing in America actually looks like. 🇺🇸
A Secret Service agent who protected Trump recently said something that SHOCKED everyone: “Trump has RUINED me — I could never protect another President the same way again.” And before you assume he meant that as criticism, WAIT until you understand what he really meant by “ruined,” because his explanation of Trump has left people across the Secret Service deeply emotional.
Here’s what the agent meant by “Trump ruined me”:
This Secret Service agent had protected several Presidents before Trump. He was professionally trained, followed every rule, and performed his duty with discipline, distance, and dedication. He protected each President the same way — until he was assigned to Trump. That’s when EVERYTHING changed.
The agent explained:
“Trump RUINED me for this job. Not because he’s difficult — but because he’s completely different. Trump knows my NAME. Other Presidents called me ‘agent.’ Trump calls me by my actual name.
He knows my WIFE’S name. He knows my CHILDREN’S names. He asks about my son’s baseball games. Trump notices when I’ve been standing for 8 hours and tells me, ‘Sit down, you need to rest.’
During long days, Trump makes sure EXTRA food is available: ‘Make sure my guys eat first.’
When my FATHER passed away, Trump came to his funeral. No cameras. No reporters. No publicity. He simply came to honor the man who raised the person protecting him.
After being treated like THIS — how could I ever return to being just ‘agent’ to another President?
After Trump remembered my CHILDREN’S names, how could I protect someone who wouldn’t even bother learning mine?
After Trump treated me like FAMILY, how could I go back to feeling like FURNITURE?
Trump RUINED me.
He raised the standard so HIGH for how a President can treat the people protecting him that I could never accept the old standard again.
That’s what I mean when I say he ‘ruined’ me.”
Here’s what this confession supposedly shows: Trump didn’t simply have Secret Service agents protecting him — he made them feel VALUED, RESPECTED, and treated like FAMILY. Once someone experiences that kind of personal respect, it becomes impossible to accept being treated like nothing more than equipment.

25 years ago, Queen Elizabeth broke with tradition and ordered the US National Anthem played at Buckingham Palace.
Today, by command of The King, that same anthem rang out again on the anniversary of 9/11.
The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester stood in for His Majesty, joined by US Ambassador Warren Stephens.
Never forget. 🇬🇧🇺🇸
