Our first STEAM challenge! Students “purchased” their Kinex pieces to build cars that met certain criteria. We tested them to see which one would go the furthest! Congratulations to our winners Ava, Kayla, Anais, and Juliana! Their car traveled over 8 meters! @WheelerAvenue

The challenge was to create the tallest structure that would stay standing during a magnitude 8 earthquake. Jayselly and Suri almost had it! Time to redesign and try again!! @WheelerAvenue

After using our hyperdocs to complete our research, it was time to head back to the innovation lab! We built structures to find out which ones could remain standing during an earthquake!! @WheelerAvenue
