I’ve gotten to the point, and this isn’t up for some debate on religion, where people need to just have kids. Figure it out. Wedlock or not. (Reminder this is not a religious account.) Seeing the clock run out on so many people has radicalized me.
The psyop men fall for is, “You can have kids anytime.” While true, the other side of this coin is, “Every day you delay kids is a day you don’t get with your grandkids.”
I remember driving to a chess tournament as a teenager, and my friend's father was telling me this. He was an MD / PhD, a pharma exec and someone I deeply admired.
He told me to do what you're good at. That way you can put in average effort and get good results, enjoy the rest of your life. Or put in elite effort and get extraordinary results.
You don't want to be putting in great effort to barely make it. Like the guy struggling to make the 54 man roster on an NFL team.
He laughed because he's smart and successful but much worse at chess than his son, much less me the Russian teenager. Not for a lack of effort.
Gotta find what you're good at, and stick with that he told me. I'll never forget that conversation.
Everyone has blacked out Covid and forgotten that Big Tech wanted you to be forced to take the “vaccine” and deny you travel if you abstained. Digital passports. Once they have their data centers, you will comply or be denied access to banking and even air travel.
Palantir CEO Alex Karp on upskilling American workers at Panasonic to produce batteries for Tesla at Japanese-engineer quality:
“We’re building batteries for a battery company—the people doing it in America are doing roughly the same job Japanese engineers are doing—and they went to high school.”
“Now they’re very valuable, if not irreplaceable—because we can make them into something different from what they were, very rapidly.”
Superb dissection of the shocking collapse of liberal comedy. This is the best explanation of how we've reached the nader where Late Night host Jimmy Kimmel can say “It’s not my job to be funny.” As this author shows, he was hired as a comedian but he made himself a priest.
Hey @Tim_Walz and @IlhanMN one of the biggest fraud bust in Minnesota history took place this week and you guys said nothing
Shouldn’t you guys celebrate when fraud is exposed in your state and district?
Or are you upset because it was exposed? Silence speaks volumes.
WhatsApp encryption is a giant fraud.
The state of Texas just sued WhatsApp for lying to users about privacy — because WhatsApp employees have access to “virtually all” private messages.
Now we know what WhatsApp’s founder meant when he said he “sold his users’ privacy.”
Notice how the war shills in DC are trying to undercut POTUS’ negotiations with Iran. Are we not supposed to engage in peace talks? What is wrong with you people.
@mashatisa@tedmurphy1971x@DudespostingWs He’s working posterior chain. Weightlifting mitigates against sarcopenia.
Lifting heavy at lower reps is easier on joints than lifting lighter at higher reps.
He’ll pull that weight and give himself plenty of days to recover.
Men stare at porn and it ruins relationships.
Women stare at renovations and luxury vacations and can't accept that life is, for most of us, going to be "normal."
People spend all day on instagram watching others take luxury vacations and doing renovations and lose their minds. Uninstall the apps and watch these mental problems disappear.
I've never regretted meeting a mutual from this app.
Always been a sublime experience.
This place is unique in that people who write often reveal their most intimate ways of thinking consistently; writing is the most accurate physiognomy of the mind. You feel all of the ebbs and flows, and if you've been mutuals for a while you go through the rhythm of different life stages with them.
There's less emphasis on curated fancy images of life so you get a good feel for who's writing, who you can trust, and who you'd form lifelong friendships with. Don't even have to see their face or know much about the details of their life.
Despite its flaws, no other app does it quite like this one.
