Justin Fields: 2nd worst treachery in Chicago Sports History
We all know that Bulls trading Derrick Rose was the worse
But Chicago Bears pinning all the blame on Justin Fields was unforgivable
Bears fans watched a team with no coach, no offensive line, and limited weapons go out and put up 30 pts a game all because of Justin Fields playmaking ability
We finally gave him 1 single weapon in DJ Moore and it led to more victories and the most yards DJ Moore has ever had
Chicago Bears and Ryan Poles scapegoated Justin instead of firing Eberflus because it was the easier thing to do
They thought by drafting new stud QB and giving him 3 stud WRs would magically fix the lack of coaching and bad OL
Poles kept Flus… fired before the season was over
Poles kept the same OL.. Caleb became the most sacked QB in the league
I’m just glad Caleb Williams only had to experience one year of what Justin had to go through
Nobody talks about it now because Ben Johnson saved Bears from disaster
But the truth was and is, that the Chicago Bears betrayed JF1
When franchises give up on their 1st rd QBs, it’s no guarantee they find another team to support them
The vicious cycle that Fields is in right now is all because Ryan Poles failed to support and develop his QB
Jerry: "Did you lay the hammer down?"
George: "Did I lay the—OF COURSE I DID, JERRY! Smokey was on my six! I had to make Topeka by nightfall! Was I not supposed to do that?!"
@bruinsdenBU@Vale_O_Paradise So in the 100+ years of MVC history the only example of how it’s historic and relevant is “one time 50 years ago we went to the championship and have had exactly 1 legend in our league”.
Thats pathetic and it proves my point
@Vale_O_Paradise@bruinsdenBU Well I guess every year is a “bad year”. Here’s 9 more relevant conferences:
1. SEC 2.Big12 3. Big10 4.ACC 5.Big East
6. Mountain West 7. A-10. 8.WCC 9. AAC
And noone dose. It’s not historic. Its schools are footnotes at best. It’s always been garbage
