This evening I'm giving a talk at @EdinburghJS in CodeBase:
'Techniques, Tools, Tips & Tricks' - how we do things on our projects at @KPV_LAB
Doors open at 6:30pm
@alecmce's @EdinburghJS Introduction to WebGL presentation is now online:
https://t.co/NPL3nA69vN
which is itself made in #webgl (Github repo link inside)
We're proud to be sponsoring @EdinburghJS for the next 6 months.
Last night our @alecmce gave a very nice intro to WebGL (the entire presentation itself a WebGL app - repo link to follow soon).
Followed by @glennjones with a nice intro to various machine learning tools for JS
After years of work my dad has an expanded and free to read Jupyter Book version of his huge textbook online:

Models in engineering & science have *way* more complexity in geometry/materials than what conventional solvers can handle.
But imagine if simulation was like Monte Carlo rendering: just load up a complex model and hit "go"; don't worry about meshing, basis functions, etc. [1/n]
the Bézier video is now out!! 🎉
I've spent the last month working on this - I hope you'll like my audiovisual exploration of these math noodles! 💖

@rsms@blixt I'm intrigued how you enabled the alt+click drag of a number field in Figma without it triggering the large pointer lock warning when within a browser?
