"He keeps changing his mind, which means that we are not delivering on our end of the deal."
Tariffs are supposed to change other countries' behavior. Constantly changing the rules does the opposite.

This is Sazan island in Albania where Ivanka Trump claims it’s a private island that she discovered while there with friends & she even walked on it barefoot. It’s absolutely gorgeous no wonder the Albanian people want to protect it from them. Liar Liar pants on fire!
Ocean currents have a huge impact on our planet. That's why it is beyond stupid for Trump to dismantle America's huge network of ocean sensors. https://t.co/LS0gM3YrqH
This is an insane story. The DOGE whistleblower who said that login attempts were made to the NLRB from Russian IP addresses minutes after DOGE got access had his brake lines cut and photos of him walking his dog from a drone taped to his door after Musk attacked him on Twitter
First Irish politician out of the traps to call for Aughinish Alumina to stop sending material to Russia. This is going to snowball over the weekend once other revelations about the plant come out.
I’ve been investigating the russian refinery for days now and the story gets darker and darker. The shipments are sent to Siberia, smelted, and sold to the russian company ‘ASK’. This company distributes aluminium directly to Russia’s missile & drone manufacturers.
Riffs, Lyrics & Legends — SRV: Pride and Joy
1/5: INTRO
1982. An unknown Texas kid walks onto the Montreux stage and gets relentlessly booed by a hostile crowd.
They wanted traditional acoustic blues, not a blistering, loud-as-hell Stratocaster.
But two legends in that audience saw the future.
“The students who cannot read a 20-page article today are the voters who will not be able to read a bill, or the jurors who cannot follow a closing argument, tomorrow.”
The United States has more ideological fanatics than Iran… and that’s a problem.
Throughout the War in Iran, I’m sure you have heard time and time again that the regime in Tehran is filled with a bunch of insane religious zealots that want nothing more than to bring about Armageddon and die as a martyr. And perhaps this is true… but their actions and strategies do not reflect this throughout the war.
Iran has been methodical. Strategic. The real 5D chess grandmaster.
The United States, on the other hand, continues to be driven by off the cuff, disjointed, and ideologically-driven strategies that are nonsensical when compared to the realities being faced on the ground.
The War in Iran, to be clear, was not launched because “it was what the American people wanted”. The approval for the War in the United States is through the floor. But the war wasn’t launched for them, it was launched for Israel and the Iran Hawks in Washington, and this is a primary reason as to why a Memorandum of Understanding has yet to be reached.
The Iran Hawks and Israel have an immensely deep rooted hatred for Iran.
What needs to be understood about this, and I mean this with every fiber of my being, is that those that claim that they want to free the Iranian people are lying through their teeth. That is NOT what they care about. They care about wiping Iran off of the map.
Permanently.
As it currently stands, the United States is completely screwed in the war. Military options do not exist. There is zero support whatsoever for a ground invasion, nuclear weapons aren’t even being remotely considered, so spare me these preposterous retorts. The economic warfare campaign, primarily led by the U.S. blockade, has failed spectacularly. Anyone examining this conflict objectively knows that this is the case.
So negotiations are the ONLY way this gets resolved.
But for negotiations to occur, both parties need to be operating in reality. Logically. This is where the ideological zealots in the United States are wreaking havoc. Not just at the negotiating table, but on the global economy.
The basic and fundamental issue right now is that, for Israel and the Iran Hawks, any concession, no matter how small, to Iran is equal to treason and failure. But logically? Iran has the United States cornered. We’re boxed in, and this isn’t even a controversial opinion. It’s a fact.
But facts are inconsequential for ideological fanatics, and this is the biggest hurdle Trump will need to overcome, alongside the irreparable damage to his legacy, if he wants to reach a peace deal or MOU in the Iran War.
He needs to accept that he doesn’t hold the cards. He doesn’t have significant leverage. And most of all, he needs to understand that he is encased in an echo chamber of ideological fanatics completely detached from reality.
Concessions will need to be made to Iran. Pallets of cash will need to be handed over. This will be widely viewed as a strategic loss and a geopolitical failure for the United States of America.
But this is the reality facing President Trump.
And reality does not care whether or not he is happy about it.
Science gasps for breath. They are removing all the ocean monitors to understand changes in currents and climate, and the excuse is a master class in obfuscation & double speak . (1/2) https://t.co/vs782YbcI3
Remarkable story from @propublica of how the Pentagon got a call from the White House and rushed to lend $620 million to an obscure company -- with links to Donald Trump Jr. The company's valuation rose 10-fold to $2 billion. https://t.co/yIJ9bXb9Jb
The Maine Wire recently alerted its readers to a scary Pride crosswalk in Bangor. I decided to investigate the situation for myself. It turns out, shockingly, that @TheMaineWire is full of it.
I stand proudly with the LGBTQ+ community, today and every day. #Pride2026
Follow the money on this one. It is rotten to the core.
The Pentagon just lent $620,000,000 to a tiny North Carolina startup called Vulcan Elements. The company is two years old.
It had fewer than 50 employees.
And three months before the deal was announced, Donald Trump Jr.’s venture firm quietly took a stake in it.
Here is the part the administration tried to bury.
Of the dozens of companies the Pentagon was weighing, Vulcan was the only deal initiated by a top White House aide. That aide was Peter Navarro, a close friend of Trump Jr. The order came down to move fast.
One official put it plainly: The call came from the White House. We have to get this done.
Staff worked late nights to push it through in weeks. Deals like this normally take many months of vetting. And when it closed, Vulcan’s valuation jumped from about 200 million dollars to roughly 2 billion.
A windfall for the investors, including the president’s son.
This is public money. Your money.
Routed through the Pentagon to enrich the president’s family and their friends. The Bush administration’s own chief ethics lawyer called it corruption we pay for.
And there is more coming.
A drone parts company Trump Jr. holds a stake in is also under Pentagon review.
This is not a one-off. It is a pattern. The president’s family is treating the federal Treasury like a private bank, and the bill lands on every taxpayer.

Hegseth Strikes Female and Black Navy Officers From Promotion List. The result: a slate of 22 new one-star admiral nominees that bears little resemblance to the force these officers will help lead.

Ireland will not supply Ukraine with lethal military aid citing its neutrality, but will supply massive amounts of alumina to Russia.
Alumina is essential in the production of high-strenght military hardware: fighter jets, artillery shells, armored vehicles, missile hulls, etc.
Trump was handed the opportunity to preside over a feel-good moment of national unity on July 4, 2026. All he had to do was for once in his life, not act like an egomaniacal lunatic. Instead, he's made a complete fiasco of the nation's 250th birthday. My latest https://t.co/77WQanV3kI
Every day, ships leave this russian owned factory in Ireland straight for St Petersburg carrying thousands of tonnes of raw alumina for the war machine.
There’s corruption everywhere. Locals tell me politicians are bought by oligarchs.
Ireland is no longer militarily neutral.
