@AndrewLeaming@JCalebJones@rightresponsem "Unqualified love has led to the majority of problems in our society today."
Citation desperately needed. I would argue that the extreme LACK of empathy that is required for capitalism to function is what causes most of our problems.
@rightresponsem "And many will follow their licentiousness, and because of them, the way of truth will be reviled. And in their greed they will exploit you with false words; from of old their condemnation has not been idle, and their destruction has not been asleep." - 2 Peter 2:1
@rightresponsem "But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction."
@rightresponsem "A sound tree cannot bear evil fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will know them by their fruits." - Matthew 7:15
@rightresponsem "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorns, or figs from thistles? So, every sound tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears evil fruit."
@GrizzlyGaming00 @PleasantKenobi As others have said, he didn't start Tesla. Ironically, he's much more of a modern day Edison, except that when he designs things himself (the Cybertruck) they fail spectacularly.
@YSuperset@sparky_jpeg@Rothmus If anything, I want you to show me how the combined 13,000 (on the high end) estimated deaths from radiation and radioactive effects acress all three accidents is somehow worse than the 460,000 deaths attributed to coal plants alone in the last 25 years.
@YSuperset@sparky_jpeg@Rothmus Please back up that statement. Show how the unique dangers of nuclear power (i.e. radiation) have proven to be more dangerous than the unique dangers posed by fossil fuels (i.e. air pollution).
Your possible sources are Fukushima and Chernobyl, and maybe Kyshtym.
@YSuperset@sparky_jpeg@Rothmus What "propogandized Delusions"?
We have the numbers.
If anything is propoganda, it's the idea the nuclear power isn't safe, because increasing the usage of it would decrease our reliance on fossil fuels and thus impact those industries tremendously.
Back up your claims.
@HEXICAN5150@delme_cupido@elonmusk It worked for decades after WW2. The economy everyone wants to go back to worked because of social policies and a massively high tax rate for the wealthiest individuals.
@elonmusk Cool, so lets set the tax rate for the richest individuals (like yourself) to 90% so we can get back to the level of widespread prosperity we saw post WW2.
@YSuperset@leastsurveilled@Rothmus It's entirely relevant.
Of energy sources that can function at scale, nuclear power has been proven to cause the least deaths. We have the evidence.
You're wrong, you just now need to understand WHY you're wrong.
@YSuperset@Rothmus Power generation of all types causes harm to the environment and to people; there is no way to extract energy without causing some level of harm.
The point, then, is to extract the greatest amount of energy while doing the least harm. Nuclear power demonstrably does that.
