🚀 AICTE–Internal Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2026 successfully conducted at #VSSUT, Burla! 🇮🇳

#VSSUT successfully conducted the three-day SIH 2026 Internal Hackathon from 19–21 August 2026, under the guidance of Dean, Faculty & Planning, Prof. Harish Kumar Sahoo, and Faculty Coordinator & SPOC, Dr. Debasmita Mishra, with the dedicated support of the organising committee and student members.

With 95 teams registered, students showcased innovative solutions across AI, IoT, Robotics, Drones, HealthTech, Agriculture, Disaster Management, Cybersecurity, Space Technology, Clean Energy and Smart Education.

Faculty and technical experts evaluated the projects on innovation, feasibility, technology, implementation potential and societal impact, encouraging teamwork, creativity and interdisciplinary problem-solving.

🏆 Selected teams will advance to the national-level SIH, competing for national recognition and a ₹1.50 lakh prize per winning problem statement in software and hardware categories.
