Sub Surface North West have recently completed a Ground Investigation for a seven-storey Waterside Care Village at Wirral Waters.

The Ground Investigation included Cable Percussive Drilling, Rotary Core Drilling and Trial Pitting for a Foundation and Contamination Assessment.

Running Sands occur when a layer of sand becomes fluidised by water flowing through it, causing the sand to 'run'.

This weekend Sub Surface North West used a Cut Down Cable Percussive Rig to access a Courtyard at Manchester Royal Infirmary. The Cut Down Rig was wheeled through the hospital, built in the courtyard and drilled to sufficient depth for a pile foundation design.
