I think the funny thing about these leftists being eugenicists is their fantasy of winning the “revolution” through physical power. Unless I missed it, they don’t seem to be fighting and putting their bodies on the line against state agents killing and kidnapping people right now

Read the whole thread, she said real shit. Dogpilers are simply showing they’re easily manipulated by right wing content farmers. Revolutions have always involved or even been led by people with imperfect bodies mutilated by capital. “More dysgenic” simply means more proletarian

Imo this is the root of so many of the ppl saying Beatrice’s clip is embarrassing, it’s going to make the left look bad, whatever. They think being disabled is uncool, masking is uncool, having needs is uncool, & they’re desperate to still be considered cool by literal fascists.
i dont think people understand the magnitude of the work we carry out
i just hung up rn with someone from the world health organization to discuss an appeal i have been fighting for on behalf of a young woman with pancreatic cancer who was blocked from exiting for medical treatment by the occupation
we have successfully won multiple of these cases alr
you are embarassingly pathetic adult-children who view topics you are unfamiliar with as scary so that you can write fanfiction about those who discuss the topics rather than engage with their writings and see that they are explicitly arguing the exact opposite of what you think.
The delusion that exercise is universally beneficial is not rooted in medicine or science. It is rooted in fatphobia and wellness culture masquerading as medicine.
Exercise can help some people, in some conditions, at some doses. However, it can also trigger PEM/PESE; be restricted during acute myocarditis or pericarditis; and require careful individualization with unstable cardiac disease, significant arrhythmias, acute infection, or acute injury.
“Get fit” is not a universal prescription. It is lazy, fatphobic and ableist thinking dressed up as virtue.
i think the funniest part about all of this is the assertion that i, someone who has been publicly writing and speaking about this topic for a decade, have done “no research”—a claim made by people who have not touched the level of research i’ve done. LMAO
disabled people know something about adaptability, sacrifice, resilience, strength, and survival that many of you don’t. and instead of seeing disabled people as a source of invaluable wisdom you further push them out of the room because you cannot confront your own vulnerability
I say this as a biologist whose graduate work featured this jargon: SHE DOES NOT MEAN “PHYSICAL FITNESS”.
She is talking about reproductive fitness. These are terms used by evolutionary biologists and ecologists which have been famously co-opted by eugenicists.
the hardest loss to accept hasn’t been my job, my capacity to walk, my former painlessness, but the loss of my faith in a leftist movement that previously was the main purveyor of meaning in my life
For two days straight I see this guy quoted in the feed by mutuals to discuss the takes from the Socialist 2026. I am all for productive disagreement but this guy 'researches far left' for the Manhattan Institute, a conservative think tank, bankrolled by your usual suspects — 1/4
My great grandfather was not slopping around with a backpack full of rocks to prepare for throwing molotov cocktails at Batista's tanks in the Battle of Santa Clara.
Che could not join in because he had fucked up his arm falling off a wall and had to wear it in a sling.
My grandmother did not have exercise as a hobby prior to taking a bunch of Batista's soldiers into her custody at gun point in revenge for their kidnapping my uncle and his friend.
It's telling that the only Cuban revolutionaries you know are Fidel and the white Argentine.
The reality is that I can share books all day long but the Americans who most need to read them in order to understand topics like the body aesthetics of fascism or disability theory won't read them.

🚨WATCH: Indonesia's Krakatau volcano has erupted for a second consecutive day, sending an ash plume to 50,000 feet and forcing flight disruptions across the region.
Krakatau sent a massive plume of ash more than 50,000 feet into the sky over Indonesia, disrupting air travel as the volcano erupted for a second straight day.
You’re still reading “fitness” as exercise. She isn’t. Fit and unfit is the eugenic ranking: who is worth keeping. Her sentence is “fitter, more eugenic.”
Here’s the link to her entire speech https://t.co/lGR3cjUNV0
Nobody said fitness is eugenics. She said ranking bodies by usefulness is fascist. Watch the talk.
A revolution that asks the dying to wait is a revolution that has already accepted our death as collateral.
If your socialism can't accommodate disability now, in its organizing principles and immediate demands (universal healthcare, accessible housing, community care), then it's not a socialism for everyone, it's a socialism for the temporarily able-bodied. Again.
I am one of the people this argument is about. Not a commentator on disposability, a person being sorted.
But yes later. After this cancer kills me and it’s too late to hear me.
You’ll all make room for our voices.
Later.
Isn’t that what liberals always say? After.
Deferral has a body count.
