@beeIzeboobs@hellpopxheretic i recorded a lot of some concerts and posted like 5 videos on instagram and i just watch that whenever im feeling nostalgic, ive never watched EVERY video i have of them
unpopular opinion i think but this no phones at concerts business is such a turn off for me. i have a horrible memory and if i don’t have pictures/videos then i’ll barely remember the concert and that feels so pointless, especially considering how expensive concerts are.
this is no hate towards artists that have a no phones policy though. i do understand that it can make the concert more special, but it just personally doesn’t work for me. i wouldn’t want to go if i can’t capture those memories.
and i know a common argument against phones at concerts is that people only want to have content for their social media, but for me that’s not true. when i went to my concert i only posted a few of the pictures i took of gracie. it was really just for me to have things to look back on.
that being said, this is coming from someone who has only been to one concert so far so maybe i’d feel differently if i had been to more and the singular one didn’t feel as special. but even then i’m afraid they would all blur together.
you are not supposed to remember everything! i get that we wait for months and spend so much money and want to make the most of it but you physically CANT remember every second of it, what u can do is allow yourself to enjoy the moment, be fully present and have a happy memory
@beeIzeboobs@hellpopxheretic exactly!! the most important thing is to remember that you were happy and present, you physically cant remember every single second but you can enjoy the concert at its fullest, i dont remember a lot of chappell's concert but i remember i danced and sang and jumped and cried
@HanTheBolter yeah i forgot most of my only olivia concert and i have to sit with the uncomfortable truth that it's because i recorded a lot :/ u get carried away especially if u dont go to many concerts and end up ruining your own experience

@creelhouseattic the only concerts i remember completely are the ones i didnt record or my gf recorded for me, even if u think you aren't paying attention to your phone you are
not going to a concert of an artist you supposedly love because you cant record is crazy, fangirls have existed for decades and concerts used to exist without phones you're not gonna die
Nikki PROBABLY goes to prison for life at the end of Obsession, but I think if she said "this asshole wished that I'd be in love with him and a demon possessed me" the judge would have seen 500 identical cases already and they'll let her go and also give her all of Ian's money.
@matty_b@CrackaMackus@Sksj002 the director himself said it's not a demon, he said they worked really hard with the actress to not portray her behavior as a demonic possession but rather the wish taken over her and making her lose her autonomy
@matty_b@CrackaMackus@Sksj002 im not ignoring it?? im saying the real nikki is conscious under wish nikki, that's why she sometimes wakes up, i literally only said it's not a demonic entity possessing her
@lionparty3000@Sksj002 that scene was horrific cause it shows how she was still under there, she lost her autonomy to the wish but the real nikki was living through it, also the "sex" scene where she was moaning but you could see it in her face the real nikki was being abused and she was suffering
@CrackaMackus@Sksj002 im just saying she is not possessed by a demonic entity or his dead cat, yes she is taken over by a supernatural wish but it's still nikki
