China has officially started banning gold.

One of the biggest banks on the entire planet, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China just announced they’re shutting down all gold trading for retail investors.

That means if you’re a Chinese Citizen your access to gold is getting cut off from next week.

It’s not just one bank.

Postal Savings Bank of China. Ping An Bank. China Guangfa Bank.

All of them.

The biggest financial institutions in the country are banning gold.

Something big is going down.

Silver Long.

Currently trading near $59/oz.

I’ll be completely honest — I’m a bit worried about how weak silver looks right now.

We need a strong breakout above $60 with conviction.

A healthy dip down to $54–$55 wouldn’t surprise me, but the buyers need to step in aggressively and eat that dip fast.

If we can defend the $54 zone and push higher with volume, we can finally escape this zone with real momentum.
