Brigitte Bardot once said, “If the world is to survive, it must respect the life of every creature.”
That message still feels incredibly relevant today.

Punch with a leaf hanging out of his mouth, staring at the visitors like a silly little kid who just discovered aliens! 😂🍃🐒
“Wait… WHO are all these people?! 🤨👀”
He looks shocked, confused, and completely fascinated, then keeps staring at them without blinking like he’s conducting a very serious investigation. 🤣🤣
Punch’s face is basically saying, “I was peacefully eating my leaf… and suddenly THIS happened!” 😂😂

Sharing this story on the pious day of #Rakshabandhan
Some bonds begin before memory. A twin’s bond begins before birth.
Neha and Major Akshay Girish - the twins shared everything - childhood, laughter, growing up, tying Rakhi on each other and an entire lifetime of memories.
And then came 29 November 2016.
As news of the Jaish-e-Mohammed fidayeen attack at Nagrota flashed on television, Neha kept asking her father:
“Maybe it isn’t true… maybe it isn’t true.”
But it was.
Akshay had volunteered to join the fight. He never came home and when he did he was wrapped in a tricolour.
Losing a sibling is like losing a limb. Losing a twin feels like losing a part of your own existence.
Army families understand the waiting. When my own brother gets posted at the border, there are days when I don’t know where he is or how he is. You learn to live between phone calls, news flashes and one constant prayer - please let him be safe.
Behind every soldier guarding our borders is a family quietly guarding hope.
Akshay gave his life in uniform. Neha has lived ever since carrying the memories of two.
Freedom is not free!
On this Rakhi I pray that all our brothers come back home safely. 🙏🏻
Jai Hind!
A Delhi Police officer runs a page to located missing people, especially those who are differently abled.
He launched the Facebook page 3 years ago, and has helped reunite 450 missing children; after he nearly lost his own differently abled son twice. Unsung heroes
May those who have passed be free from fear in the bardo.
May their karma be purified and may they find rebirth in a pure realm or precious human life.
Om Mani Padme Hum 🙏
