Hi everyone - Recently I was let go from my role as a Graduate Software Developer at Valtech London start date September 2020 due to adverse operating conditions caused by the Covid pandemic. I am looking for a new role and would appreciate your support. Thank you #100DaysOfCode
@Leeoku I'm in the same boat. The most important thing is to decide what you want. Typically, SDE roles require foundations of CS and other jobs, like Frontend development need more knowledge of specific libraries or understanding of subset of topics rather than the entire CS curriculum

Day #4 of #30DaysOfShipping . Lyndon Shi agreed to be a mentor for the winston project. Had a good conversation with him about the project and some other off topic things, but I feel we hit it off perfectly. Also, thinking of planning a new project in Rust.
Enlisted help of James McMurray to help with the Rust project and he knows a lot about Rust. Looking forward to working with both Lyndon and James!
Couldn't code today, but I'm not upset about it because I got to talk to these amazing people!

Renamed the project to "Winston", got some project details sorted out, designed a few wireframes for the project and helped out a fellow SOS. What a day!
Oh also, had an amazing Friday meetup, interacted with more fellow SOS people and learnt about GraphQL

Right now, I'm stuck at the hardest thing a programmer can face, i.e, naming something :) . I'll try to select a name by today and start coding!
Stay Tuned for more!

I'm starting a new project as a part of @summer_of_ship . It is a static-site generator geared towards data scientists. Inspired by conversations with @pliao39 and after reading https://t.co/Pjh0UVOyuc , I'm thinking of making the project more diverse in terms of options

What if @summer_of_ship was a fractal?
An open source project, which emits other open source projects - all while training technologists?
