🚨 BREAKING NEWS
Former Chief of Army Staff of Nigeria, General Tukur Buratai (Rtd), has stated that he does not believe claims suggesting that Nigerian security agencies lack the capability to track or identify terrorists.
Speaking during an interview, Buratai explained that Nigeria’s security agencies possess the expertise, experience, and operational tools required to monitor criminal elements and locate their hideouts when adequate cooperation and credible intelligence are available.
He stressed that effective intelligence sharing and strong collaboration between security agencies and members of the public remain critical in the fight against terrorism and other security threats facing the country.
According to him, defeating terrorism is not the responsibility of security agencies alone, but a collective national effort that requires unity, support, and active cooperation from citizens.
The former Army Chief also emphasized the importance of accurate intelligence in strengthening ongoing counter-terrorism operations across Nigeria.
