It will be interesting to see how Informer and Kurir frame Zelensky’s visit to Belgrade. The greater risk for Vučić may lie less in Moscow than at home — though few politicians are more practiced at walking this particular tightrope.

Fact check: A routine diplomatic statement from 2022 is limited evidence that “Serbia loves Iran.” Belgrade maintains ties with Tehran, partly because Iran does not recognise Kosovo. Whether this makes Serbia unsuitable to host the OSCE PA is a separate question.

@Andric1961 … but it follows decades of decline. I still remember the comfortable overnight trains from Munich to Zagreb, Belgrade and even Skopje in the 1990s and early 2000s. What I would really like to see now is the restoration of a direct Zagreb–Belgrade–Skopje rail link.
