@graffasi @pbabinski91 That's why this isn't a cult. We don't banish or shun. My one son is not active at all and we just love him and my DIL! They're at our place all the time. We don't shame, shun or banish. Everyone is on their own spiritual journey. Sorry to disappoint you.

It doesn't say but bishop usually encourages victims to report. Sounds like that happened. As for membership.. once legal is completed, then membership is dealt with.

@tituswoman @Ch_JesusChrist Tithing isn't a "mormon" principle.. it's a Biblical one. Nobody asks for your tax records or your pay stubs. You simply declare if you pay an honest tithe, per the Bible. Period. Personally, I'm glad they are good custodians of the money entrusted to them!
