@DHSCgovuk please can you fix this broken link to the reports of investigations of Jimmy Savile abuse on the NHS estate? I'm shocked that what was meant to be a record for posterity is so easily made unavailable to public scrutiny

My aunt Gaie, 77, was released from prison on licence, but has been recalled because Serco cannot find a tag that will fit her arm. Surely this is unfair @JamesTCobbler? And not a good use of prison. Gross evidence of how the prisons system fails women in particular. @MoJGovUK
Up now on the #AllofUs blog is @StefanieHuntKe1 and Laurel Daen's co-edited series on experiences of disability in Early America. It's our first ever series of essays, and the six put together are a fantastic read! Check it out on our landing page today: https://t.co/H6GVrwEqca
Thank goodness for @carla_denyer shedding some common sense here. A waste of public money, as well as a terrible injustice, to lock up my 77 year old aunt for her advocacy of Labour's policy, to ban new licences for oil exploration in the North Sea

Our rivers are being destroyed & the time for nice words & future promises is over.
On 26th October, I’ll be joining thousands of other river & water guardians & community groups in London for the March for Clean Water, demanding that the government take real & immediate action to make good on its manifesto commitments to stop the pollution of our rivers & seas. Hopefully as many of you as possible will join us to show the strength of feeling & that we will not allow our rivers to be quietly killed.

My review of @Lynncabrams Feminist Lives is out with Women's History Review. It's an important book that models how to capture the diffuse influence of politics beyond activist circles.

Disingenuous @AnglianWater criminally dumps sewage in River Cam and across region, fails to invest in infrastructure, diverts funds to give dividends and bonuses and uses monitoring to delay action. @Feargal_Sharkey @greenarteries https://t.co/FqmcvywuHi
She is starting her 7th night in prison tonight. Please keep her in your thoughts, and write to your MP if you think environmental protest shouldn't be filling our prisons
James Riley, threw rocks & bricks at Southport police, jailed for precisely the same time as my auntie in her late 70s, jailed for peacefully insisting it's time to stop burning oil. How is that ok? Prison is not the answer for either. But peaceful protest is precious.
We are delighted to announce that @Mia__Bay has been elected as Paul A. Mellon Professor of American History @CamHistory. This bold, brilliant scholar will advance @Cambridge_Uni’s reputation as a world-leading centre for the study of American history.

Starting her 20 month prison sentence, my aunt in her late 70s. Her sentence matches those given to people possessing knives, sex assaults, affray. She simply protested our ecocidal energy policies. We literally subsidise the fossil fuels that are killing our future.
